A family walking together outdoors, parents and children moving at an easy, unhurried pace.

By travel style

Start from how you want to travel

You may not know which page you need, but you usually know how you want the trip to feel, as a family, as a couple, at a gentler pace, around work, or in a short window. Start there, and we point you to the approach built for it.

The idea

How you travel points to where to begin

The way you travel changes almost everything about a good plan, the pace, where you stay, how you move, and how much rest belongs in the day. A family journey and a couple’s journey are not the same trip with the names swapped, and a short stay follows a different logic again.

So rather than asking you to read every page, we let you start from the style that fits and route you to the approach built for it. The styles overlap freely, and if your trip is a mix, as many are, we plan around the mix rather than the label.

What your style shapes

  • Pace, and how much rest the days protect
  • Where you stay, and how the areas connect
  • How you move, and how far transfers run
  • Which few moments genuinely fit
  • How the heat and the season shape the plan
  • Whether a short window or a full journey suits

Where to begin, by travel style

Each style links to the approach built for it. Start where yours sits, and if more than one fits, follow whichever feels closest; we plan around the overlap.

Not sure which fits?

Being unsure is a good place to start

If none of the styles feels exactly right, that is genuinely fine, most trips are a blend. Tell us your dates, who is travelling and what you want from the trip, and we will suggest a direction rather than asking you to pick a box first. As Dubai and wider-UAE specialists, we plan, coordinate and run every part of the trip ourselves, and take full responsibility for how it all comes together.

One specialist team plans, coordinates and stands behind every part of your journey — from the first message to the final farewell. If anything needs solving, we solve it.

Travel-style questions, answered

What does planning by travel style mean?

It is a way in for when you know how you want to travel, as a family, as a couple, at a slow pace, around work, or in a short window, but are not sure which page or approach fits. Each style links to the approach built for it, so you start in the right place rather than reading everything.

What if more than one style applies to us?

That is common, and welcome. A family trip can also be a first visit; a couple’s journey can be a short stay. The styles overlap and borrow from one another, we plan around your actual mix rather than forcing you into a single label.

I am not sure which style fits. Can you help?

Yes. If none of the styles feels exactly right, tell us your dates, who is travelling and what you want from the trip, and we will suggest a direction. Being unsure is a perfectly good place to start an enquiry from.

How does ALVIA look after the hotels, guides and experiences?

We plan, coordinate and personally coordinate and oversee your whole trip, the hotels, guides, experiences, dining and transport, curated to your style and selected to a standard we insist on. We know Dubai and the wider UAE intimately, so even the well-known moments receive our touch, and we take full responsibility for how the trip comes together.

Are these fixed packages with set prices?

No. Each style is a starting point, not a priced package. The right shape depends on your dates, group and purpose, so we prepare an itemised proposal rather than displaying a single price. You always see what is included, optional and excluded before you commit.

Can a short stay become a fuller journey later?

Often, yes. A short stay or stopover can grow into a complete Signature Journey where the dates allow, and we can plan the two as one rather than as separate trips.

Not sure where to start?

Tell us your dates, who is travelling and how you want the trip to feel. We reply with a direction that fits, even if you are not yet sure which style is yours, at your pace.
