ALVIA SIGNATURE TRAVEL & TOURISM
Cookies Notice and Settings
How website technologies are used and how visitors remain in control.
This notice explains how ALVIA uses cookies and similar technologies, what choices are available, and how visitors can change those choices at any time.
Part A - Cookies Notice
1. About this notice
This notice applies to alviasignaturetourism.ae and is provided by ALVIA Signature Travel & Tourism - FZCO ("ALVIA", "we", "us" or "our"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
2. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small files stored on a browser or device. Similar technologies, such as local storage, pixels or tags, can perform related functions. They may keep a website working, remember a visitor's choices, measure site use or support advertising.
3. Technologies we may use
Essential - always active
These technologies are required to operate, secure and display the website, maintain basic functionality, prevent misuse or remember a cookie choice. They are not used for optional advertising. Because they are necessary for the service requested by the visitor, they cannot normally be switched off through Cookie Settings.
Analytics - optional
If enabled, analytics help us understand matters such as page visits, general traffic sources, device or browser type and how visitors move through the site. Analytics will remain off until the visitor gives consent. ALVIA will not intentionally configure analytics to receive the contents of enquiry forms, passport information, payment details or sensitive travel requests.
Marketing - optional
If enabled in future, marketing technologies may help measure campaigns, limit repeated advertising or make advertising more relevant. They will remain off until the visitor gives consent. Refusing marketing cookies will not prevent use of the essential website.
If ALVIA introduces another non-essential category, such as optional personalisation or embedded media, Cookie Settings and this notice will be updated before that category is activated.
4. Consent and UAE data-protection law
Where cookies or similar technologies process personal data, ALVIA handles that information under its Privacy Policy and applicable UAE law, including Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 Concerning the Protection of Personal Data.
Optional analytics and marketing technologies will be activated only after a clear choice is made. Consent may be refused or withdrawn without preventing access to the basic website. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
5. Third-party technologies
Some optional tools may be supplied by analytics, advertising, video, map, social-media or other technology providers. When activated, those providers may set or read their own cookies and process information under their own privacy terms. ALVIA will select and configure providers with reasonable care, but their independent services and systems are not controlled by ALVIA.
6. How long cookies remain
Session cookies normally expire when the browser is closed. Persistent cookies remain for a defined period or until deleted. ALVIA keeps cookie-related information only for as long as reasonably needed for its purpose. A first-party cookie-preference record may normally be kept for up to 12 months so the website can remember the visitor's choice.
Before any optional analytics or marketing tool is enabled, ALVIA will confirm its purpose, provider and retention period and update the public information where reasonably required.
7. Managing or deleting cookies
Visitors can use the Cookie Settings control in the website footer to accept, reject or change optional choices. Optional categories should be off unless and until consent is given. Visitors may also block or delete cookies through their browser settings, although essential website functions may then behave differently.
8. Updates to this notice
We may update this notice when the website, cookie tools, providers or legal requirements change. The updated version will be published with a revised effective date. A material new optional use will not be activated for an existing visitor unless the required choice has been obtained.
9. Contact and governing law
For a question or request about cookies or personal data, contact ALVIA at concierge@alviasignaturetourism.ae or +971 52 231 3302. Location: Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
This notice is governed by and intended to be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Nothing in it limits any privacy or consumer right that cannot lawfully be limited.
