Dubai Overnight Desert Safari with Hot Air Balloon

Overview

The desert story begins on the ground and rises with the morning light. After pickup you travel into a protected conservation reserve for a nature drive in a vintage 1950s-style 4x4, with the chance to see native wildlife such as the Arabian oryx.

A live falcon flight demonstration and a camel ride lead into an evening of traditional hospitality, a four-course dinner at your private table, live music, cultural entertainment, shisha and henna. You rest overnight in an air-conditioned cabana, then rise before dawn for a sunrise hot-air-balloon flight of up to 60 minutes (subject to weather and aviation clearance), a buffet breakfast and a pilot-signed certificate.

• The total experience lasts about 20 hours, including transfers, the overnight stay and the morning balloon activity.
• Pickup is scheduled by transfer option and location and is normally confirmed to your contact number the day before; shared transfer timing may vary by 30 to 60 minutes.
• Shared transfer is unavailable from Palm Jebel Ali, Expo City, Dubai Investment Park, Al Maktoum Airport (DWC), Al Khawaneej, Al Aweer, Dubai South and Damac Hills. A private transfer can be requested instead.
• A clear copy of a valid passport or Emirates ID is required for every guest at booking; each guest also completes aviation check-in and signs the waiver before the flight.
• A working WhatsApp number is required for pickup and operational updates.
• Guests under 5 and over 70 cannot join the balloon flight.
• The standard maximum weight for the flight is 119 kg; above this requires pilot approval and may involve an additional charge.
• The flight is not available during pregnancy; guests must be able to enter and leave the basket and hold the brace position on landing.
• Not recommended for guests with heart conditions, serious knee or back problems, major surgery within the previous six months or a fear of heights.
• Balloon operations depend on weather, aviation clearance and the pilot's safety decision; if the flight cannot proceed, rescheduling or a partial or full refund may apply.

Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the scheduled start. Within 48 hours it is non-refundable.
